CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATE...

 2020 Calendar

IN ADDITION TO THE GRADUATION CARD TODAY,

THIS WEEK YOU WILL BE TREATED TO THESE CARDS:

Memorial Day, Flag Day, Father's Day, Birthday and Baby!

As our year marches forward through many holidays and special family occasions, it is always a delight to design handmade cards for those we love and appreciate. One of our family graduates attended a high school with mascot colors of orange and black. I wanted an image of a cap and diploma, but didn't have a stamp with those graphics. So... I Googled Cap and Diploma Clipart, and wah-lah, I downloaded this picture and printed it on Whisper White Cardstock. With a little editing, I added an orange "ribbon" around the diploma, and an orange "button" on the cap.....

Graduates around the country have been unable to gather for ceremonies due to COVID, but many wonderful events, like drive-bys, have been celebrated!! 2020 graduates may well be known as THE CLASS THAT MADE HISTORY!

This is the frame I designed for our granddaughter. I called the high school in Nebraska and asked if they would email me the school and mascot logos so I could personalize it especially for her. They were very accommodating, so when completed, I sent them a photo of it.....

COVID 2020...

When the calendar flipped open to March 2020, little did we know what was in store... Regardless of where you live in this whole wide world, I don't need to explain COVID because you are likely living it too... So here is a little snapshot of our journey...

Since my husband and I are empty nesters and retired, staying at home was natural on day one, day two, day three... Then reality set in. This quarantine thing wasn't a difficult adjustment, but what could we do to make the best use of our time???  First, we volunteered to send mailers out to individuals and families in our church. The supplies were dropped off on our front porch, and we stuffed envelopes, applied labels and stamps. Then, hubby did some extra yardwork while I cleaned out a few closets and drawers... but mostly I sent cards... Get Well, Thinking of You, Praying for You, Happy Birthday. And then this happened... Stampin' Up released a 15 page download of COVID thoughts, greetings, wishes, and more. So I began making cards, cards, cards. This is the first one...

Smiling Face Mask

Hubby and I have made a few trips to the grocery store,

but like many of you, we have mostly stayed home with a smile.

Jim & Linda

Here are some of the cards I've made with the Share Sunshine Download. There are about 50 different greetings, and all of them in several colors of ink. You may click on these card images to enlarge and see a closeup of some of the greetings.  If you would like to have a copy of the entire download, scroll to the bottom of this post for more information.

COVID cards

The Share Sunshine digital stamp set is packed with both lighthearted and thoughtful sentiments relevant to the COVID pandemic. Simply print the download on white cardstock and cut or punch out the images to make cards, letters, or other meaningful and fun communications. As part of Stampin' Up's Making a Difference program, 100% of the proceeds will go to COVID-19 GIVEBACK efforts through the World Health Organization or United Way Worldwide.

The cost is only $12 plus tax when applicable.

I receive no portion of the proceeds of this sale.

THANK YOU!
