LIGHTHOUSE...
When I was growing up, my dad had a commercial fishing boat. All us kids (there were eight of us) learned so much from him about the sea. He was an experienced vessel operator, and taught us many things about weather, tides, and navigation. We learned how to speak on the marine radio and more. As a result of my upbringing, I have always loved the water and especially lighthouses. The From Land to Sea Stamp Set was one of my first purchases when the new catalog was released in June.
Our dad also taught us even more important things...

What a beautiful and innovative card, Linda! I love what you have done with the die cut for waves, and the pretty lighthouse giving light in a dark time. Wonderfully symbolic and just so pretty! Thanks for sharing, hugs, de
