GRATEFUL...

Our family had such a wonderful Thanksgiving. We gathered together for breakfast at 9AM, followed by the big meal at 2PM, then seconds at 8PM. We didn't go to our separate homes until 10:30 PM! There were so many blessings and so much GOODNESS, for which we were all very GRATEFUL...

This simple bow tops the card...

 

I used my old square punches to achieve the perfect layers...

...and extended the Autumn theme with the leaves...

The leaves can be tucked inside the recipient's envelope.

TRULY GRATEFUL...

Sunday after church we went to the Heathman Lodge (Hudson Grill) for lunch. While seated and waiting for our food, I admired the mural, painted high above on the wall. We eat there often, so I've looked at the mural many times, but with Thanksgiving just days away (11 to be exact), I decided to take a picture to introduce the theme of today's post...

On the far left, and out of the view of my cell phone camera, Indians cook a meal over an open fire while the family on the right shares a feast together. At a glance, both the painting above and my card below, reminds me how much I have to be thankful for, especially this time of the year.

I punched the "dots" out of Soft Suede Cardstock with the Cupcake Builder Punch, and put a dab of Crystal Effects on each dot so they would look shiny and dimensional... I thought of making dots with the Cupcake Builder Punch, and my friend Jean Fitch thought to add the Crystal Effects.

WINTER BLIZZARD...

Here I am with a lineup of pretty autumn cards to show you, and there's a blizzard all across the USA. The beautiful fall leaves in my yard are covered with snow and ice!! 

Never-the-less, the autumn card I had previously posted with tomorrow's date is scheduled to load at 1:00 AM and that's the way it's going to stay!  Burrrrrrrr!

MISS YOU...

I've enjoyed hearing from many of you who own the FOR THE BIRDS STAMP SET. In spite of that, most of you have admitted that you have yet to put ink on the rubber. Perhaps this little birdie will motivate you to do some stamping with one of the eight stamps in this cute-as-can-be set...

In order to get the embossed stripes to go in opposite directions, I had to turn the red cardstock on its side...
