HAPPY 4TH...

 

When darkness falls at our place, kids, grandkids, great grandkids and lots of extended family members will gather to shoot off fireworks as we have done for dozens and dozens of years. While the kids, dads, grandpas, brothers, nephews and uncles play with fire (literally), the rest of us (moms, grandmas, sisters, nieces, and aunts), will be sitting comfortably in lawn chairs, watching and praying that everyone will be safe. The best part of all is being together as a family! Of course... After the fireworks, we always have something good to eat. This year it is strawberry shortcake topped with ice cream or whipping cream or both! I'd love to hear what YOU are doing today!
