CHANGE THE WORLD...

One of the notable stamp sets in the new Stampin' Up! catalog is TRAVELER. My first experiment was with the globe image. I'll be using the other five stamps out of this set within the next few weeks and look forward to the creativity they will surely inspire...

WISH BIG...

Throughout my years as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I've always been surprised at which cards turn out to be the most popular with workshop guests and online viewers. Sometimes I design a card thinking it will be a knockout favorite, but it isn't. Other times, I come close to discarding a card because I don't like it, but that's the one that scores the best. Just for the record, I really like this card...

But the big question is... Do you like it?

DESIGN NOTE: To make the perfect waves at the top of the card, I used the Simply Scored Border Plate and scored the wave line. Then I carefully cut on the score line with Paper Snips. Presto! WAVES!

Even though subtle, the color combination on this card blend well together - Sahara Sand, Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss. The color names (sand, honey and blackberry), mingle well too...

The Zentangle Method is a fun and relaxing way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Their trademark statement is... Anything is possible, one stroke at a time.  I saw this unique art form on the World Wide Web, and wanted to experiment a little. It's my birthday today and girls just want to have fun - especially on their birthdays!

CARDS FOR DAD...

I made this card a few weeks ago for my hubby and for this Father's Day post! The Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die was retired on June 4th, but he doesn't know about our retired lists. If he did, he might put 2 plus 2 together and figure out why I always need want new stampin' supplies!

 

I designed this card last year for Father's Day. It has become the second most popular card I've ever made and continues to be re-posted and re-pinned over and over all across the world. I thought it was worth posting again...

 

Hubby and I have kids and grandkids visiting from out of state. The granddaughters love, love, love, hanging out in my magic stamp room. It truly is magic! This is one of the simple cards they made over the past couple of days for their daddy...

SCALLOPED FLOWER...

Here's another card made with the Four You Stamp Set. This time I combined it with the new Hexagon Hive Thinlit...

...and I used a simple variation of the three Scallop Circles...
