DIDN'T MAKE THE CUT...

My favorite card for April was the Easter Curvy Gatefold (04/16/14). But the four I designed below didn't make the cut...

1. I'm not a great fan of geometric designs, and the paper had just retired from Sale-A-Bration before I posted, so it got tossed.  2. Not much thought or originality went into this card, but someone will enjoy receiving it in the mail.  3.  I accidently stamped Raspberry Ripple ink on this Real Red card, and I didn't take time to fix it (yet).  4. After finishing this card, I realized it was nearly identical to another one I made about two years ago, so it didn't get posted on the World Wide Web.

SEASHORE...

I purchased this BY THE SEASHORE STAMP SET recently, and was very happy to see it was not on the retired list... 

I wanted to replicate the look of the newsprint inside the sea urchins, but didn't have any such Designer Series Paper on hand, so I used pages from an old paperback book...

Blue, brown and naturals worked well with this layout.

TAG PUNCH...

My first attempt at using the Scallop Tag Topper Punch was to make this card. I choose masculine, earthy colors and a macho style - just in time to post it for EARTH DAY (today)...

and chose happy birthday as the greeting (always popular)...

I can imagine lots of uses for this punch...

PETER COTTONTAIL...

I saw a pair of these bunnies on the World Wide Web, but don't know the name of the original designer. They were so cute and I decided to make a Stampin' Up! version...

And these are real cotton tails...
