TODAY!

Today, March 7th, is my 50th wedding anniversary!

I made this glitzy card for the occasion and decided to use a mirror in my light box under the card for a little extra glamour. Pretty cool effect huh!

Here we are...

Rather than having a reception with linens and china and getting all dolled up, I told my husband I wanted to take the kids on a cruise to Alaska for our celebration. (I'm the reception coordinator at our church and I wanted to do something d i f f e r e n t !!) So last July, that's exactly what we did.  It was an amazing trip of a lifetime. Here are a few photos...

 

 

Tonight we are going out to dinner with family. On Sunday, our children have arranged to have a bouquet of red roses on the church communion table to recognize our joyful event.

I'm so happy to be able to share this day with you. Thank you.
