I HEART YOU...

Little paper hearts are a big hit when layered with chocolate!

HERE'S HOW:  1) Top pink heart is made by using the Full Heart Punch and Designer Series Paper... (Any color combination will do, but pick papers that match your candy wrappers)... 2) The next layer is made with the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine and the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits Die... 3) Next layer is an individually wrapped piece of chocolate... 4) The bottom layer is punched from any matching card stock with the Full Heart Punch... 5) Each layer is adhered together with a piece of Sticky Strip... 6) Add a little sparkle with a Basic Rhinestone.

 

The plain red heart is made the same way - minus the pink layer. 

  

I made this ceramic basket years ago and it has been enjoyed by kids and grandkids for many Valentine celebrations.

A FAVORITE THING...

A LITTLE BIT MASCULINE...

 

The combination of colors, papers, ribbon and style of this card turned out a little on the masculine side...

The Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper has a pattern that repeats every 5/8", so I cut all the strips that same width and wove in and out with Soft Suede Card Stock strips to make the checkered background...

The Natural Trim Ribbon is truly a natural for a masculine card.
