I used Stampin' Write Markers to color the image. The Stripes Embossing Folder, Beautiful Wings Embosslit (butterfly), and Antique Brad, adds charm to this very traditional layout...

SLIGHTLY GEOMETRIC...

In order to position the (slightly geometric) printed paper at an angle, the outside dimensions of the card had to be 5" x 5".  The ribbon and button help dress up the plain straight lines of the overall design...

REASON TO SMILE...

This pretty flower (stamped 3 times) was in an exclusive stamp set offered July 1st - 31st.  Oops!  I forgot about that for an hour or so while making this card. But I decided to show it to you anyway because it gave me REASON TO SMILE, which oh-by-the-way, is the name of the set!

I used the So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker to color the petals, and the Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker to color the stems.

Then I cut slivers of the So Saffron Card Stock and threaded the button holes for another touch of color.

Also note the awesome antiqued background... It was achieved by using Early Espresso Core'dinations Card Stock in the Woodgrain Textured Embossing Folder, then rubbing a Designer Sanding Block over the top.
