So many of our Stampin' Up! Dies may be slightly trimmed resulting in a little different look. Here's one example...
And adding dimensionals to any card design kicks it up a notch!
A little trimming will do...
HERE'S HOW: 1) Use the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine with the Lattice Bigz Die. Trim all four "points" off with Paper Snips. 2) Glue new images onto plain or printed paper. 3) With Paper Snips, cut around underneath edge of your plain or printed paper. 4) Embellish with button or other pretties. 5) Adhere Stampin' Dimensionals to back side and you're ready to go!
PRODUCTS USED ON THIS CARD: Night of Navy Textured Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper, Summer Smooches Designer Fabric Brad, Night of Navy 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, You Are Loved Stamp Set, Night of Navy Stampin' Pad, Stampin' Dimensionals.

A few weeks ago, my granddaughters, Kamille and Kara ages 9 and 7, were visiting from California. They love, love, love to make crafts in grandma's workshop. One afternoon, I told them I would help them make any card or project, and that they could choose their own papers and trims. As usual, they were so happy and couldn't wait to get started! Out of the thousands of cards and hundreds of projects displayed or on file in my studio, they both chose an umbrella! When it came time to return home, they hand-carried their darling creations on the airplane. Both umbrellas made it intact and are now displayed on a little shelf in their pretty, shared bedroom!
Thanks for your continued friendship and support...
I hope you enjoy this post and the free download.
I bought three styrofoam balls in graduated sizes to make something fun and fabulous. Each will be in a different color combination. I'll hang them together with lots of pretty ribbons and bows...
This is a peek at the first one before the ribbons and bows are added.
It's even prettier in real life!
Oh how I love being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!
The colors and designs in the Domestic Goddess Designer Series Papers coordinate with so many styles, occasions and moods...

I started making this card and only got this far... Then I sat and stared! Has that ever happened to you? (Or how often?)
I thought this was sort of nice, but what next???
So I started working on the inside...
Then I decided, it's really quite okay to make a card with little or no frills, especially when you open it to find an unexpected surprise. Use a plain piece of typing paper - or nice parchment paper - for the inside. Attach it to your card by one single strip along the top edge. (That's how Hallmark does it.)

P.S. The Twitterpated Designer Series Paper called for Riding Hood Red as a matching color, but I fudged a little and used Cajun Craze.

There's nothing unique or exclusive about the design elements of this card, but someone deserves a BIG HUG because it's so pretty. (Oh! That must be me!) Don't you love the color. And don't you love how all the Stampin' Up! papers and products match! It's ahhhh inspiring!
And this Big Shot die is simply to die for!
I know, I know, I know... I used this same die in this same way just last week! I couldn't help using it again today... and I might even use it tomorrow! Naaaaahh!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
So if you deserve a big hug (or not), go ahead and invest in this die. It can also be stacked and combined with other flower shapes. By using plain papers, printed papers or a combination of both, it takes on new and different looks each way it's made.
