but it didn't turn out like I planned!

IN A NUTSHELL...

I made a card today, but I don't like it much, so I'm not showing much!

Me 

A VERY SWEET FRIEND...

I have a dear friend, Marabel, who is 78 years old.  I am visiting Marabel in the hospital tomorrow, and taking this card to her.  She loves fabric and throughout the years has made countless quilts and many beautiful treasures.  I think she will love this card. 

She is truly a sweet friend...

 

I frayed the flower because I know she will like it...

Rather than stamping Get Well, I chose the Sweet Friend sentiment, because I know she will save this card forever, and I want it to always remind her how much she means to me.

SUPER BOWL ! ! !

For me... It's all about the FOOD.  And the COMMERCIALS.  And HALFTIME.  Those TIGHT ENDS aren't bad either.  (Ooohhh. Did I say that?)

This playful card is even more simple than it looks...

I stamped the hot air balloon with the balloon stamp in this set...

...then cut a balloon image from this Designer Series Paper...

...and adhered it on top of the stamped balloon!
