With 70 stampers in attendance at our World Card Making Day, at least some of them will be searching for "beginner" cards. So I made a very simple masculine card which I hope appeals to new stampers...
A little tearing and sponging will make them feel like pros...
. . . . . . . . . . . .
I hope they choose it, make it, and know that stamping is
TOTALLY COOL!
I made a card very similar to this one for last year's World Card Making Day... and it sold out (all 20 of them), within 15 minutes! Sooooo... I figured... why not design another one like it...
If you are signed up for WCMD, this one will be in the lineup!
If you're making this at home, here is a closeup view of the legs.
. . . . .

And this is a sneak peek of tomorrow's (masculine) WCMD Keeper!
Now I gotta' go and cut card stock! (Only 5 more days to go!)
This card was in the FAST category until I added the cross-stitching. Now it's a little too FANCY (too tedious) for World Card Making Day...
I got carried away with my thread and needle...
and I used the Scallop Trim Border Punch for the tag detail.
But a note to all of you pre-registered guests...
DON'T YOU WORRY!
Lots more (INCREDIBLE) cards are in the works
for WORLD CARD MAKING DAY on October 1st!
We had a final planning session this evening for our October 1st World Card Making Day. It will be our 3rd Annual and promises to be AWESOME! There are 10 Stampin' Up! demonstrators joining the fun. Between us we have 70 pre-registered customers! We are offering 54 card boxes with 12 cards each (648 cards)! I haven't decided whether to include this one or not. Hummmm.....
But it's pretty isn't it...
Berry Blossoms Designer Series Paper
and Calypso Coral Ruffled Ribbon is a match made in heaven...
10 days until WCMD. I'd love to add you to our "She's Coming" list!
Choose from 54 different cards - and pay only $1.50 each!

BUT HURRY!
Hubby and I are flying home today. <big sigh> We've been on a road trip for the past ten days helping our kids with their move from our neighborhood in Vancouver, Washington, to their new home in Monterey, California. Our son-in-law and daughter, Barry and Krystal, are the new pastors at Living Hope Church of the Nazarene in Monterey. When we get home and settled in, I'll take time to tell you about our family adventure...
I'm having a little trouble keeping my makeup from smearing...
<sniff sniff>
A NOTE FROM ME TO YOU... It is always such a blessing to receive your kind, thoughtful, interesting, and funny comments. I've especially enjoyed each and every one of them the past couple of weeks (since being out of town), and decided to frame a sentiment for you...
A sweet sentiment positioned in a pretty frame increases the focus and impact... or at least it seems that way to me.
After running the Designer Frame through the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, I trimmed the paper edges slightly less than 1/8" around the embossed frame to highlight it even more.

This is our last night here. I hate goodbyes.
15 MORE DAYS UNTIL WORLD CARD MAKING DAY!
There's still time to sign up!
Take a look at last year's event - and then contact me!
