WAAAAY OUT WEST IN OREGON...

I'm going to a Roundup... and a Rodeo... to see real Indians... and buff cowboys... and other cool western things... like boots with spurs... and roping tricks... and 10 gallon hats...

I sure hope the Marlboro Man is there!  I can hope can't I?

DO YOU HAVE THIS STAMP SET?

OW SS

A SUITABLE WORKSHOP CARD...

The design of this seasonal card is quite simple, but still contains a few special features enjoyed by my local stampers...

T-1

...like the layered fall colors and textures...

T-2

...and the peek-a-boo ribbon...

T-3

...and the pretty copper eyelets...

Picture1

...and the variegated pumpkin...

T-4

HERE'S HOW TO PAINT YOUR PUMPKIN:  Choose 3 or 4 Stampin' Write Markers.  Using the brush end, start with the lightest shade, coloring a spot here and there directly to the rubber.  When all the rubber is covered with ink, huff on the image before stamping.  Wahlah!

Supplies & Accessories: Stamp Set #116511 Grateful Greetings; Textured Card Stock #121076 More Mustard, #121077 Old Olive; Card Stock #101650 Very Vanilla, #119684 Cajun Craze; Stampin' Pad #119670 Early Espresso; Stampin' Write Markers #100076 More Mustard, #105115 Pumpkin Pie, #119678 Cajun Craze, #100079 Old Olive; Tool #108362 Crop-A-Dile; Embellishments #105319 Copper Eyelets, #111368 1/4" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon; Adhesive #104430 Stampin' Dimensionals.

I love stamp sets that are made for MULTIPLE SEASONS AND HOLIDAYS... Check out these two sets.  You might want to consider them for your Wish List.  They are like the Eveready Bunny... They can just keep going and going and going!

BELIEVE IT OR DON'T...

As I work on new cards and projects in my stamping studio, I'm always happy to be surrounded by drawers of beautiful papers and ample collections of supplies and embellishments. But when I make a mistake on a card, or smear something, or stamp crooked, I try to fix it before reaching for a replacement.  (It's part of the challenge.)  This card is a great example of that...

Bel1

When I first designed this card, the Designer Series Paper scallop was on the left side, just under the edge of the triangle.  BUT... When I stamped the greeting on Textured Card Stock, the inked image didn't turn out smooth.  So I took a piece of plain Card Stock, stamped on it and covered the flaw.  Whew!  Better.  But it needed something more...  Hummm... So I ripped the scallop paper edge from the left side, put it on the right side...  And it turned out to be... acceptable.

Bel2

Some things have to be seen to be believed!

Supplies & Accessories: Stamp Set #116948-W or 120453-C Just Believe; Textured Card Stock #121078 Soft Suede; Card Stock #115318 Soft Suede, 119684 Cajun Craze, #101650 Very Vanilla; Designer Series Paper #117157 Patterns Stack Soft Suede; Stampin' Pad #101179 Basic Black; Punches #117191 Two-Step Bird, #119882 Scallop Edge Border; Tool #108362 Crop-A-Dile; Embellishment #108431 Antique Brass Jumbo Eyelet; Adhesive #104430 Stampin' Dimensionals.

Supp

And listen to this... When you purchase a regular pack of Designer Series Paper (12 sheets for $9.95), you are paying $0.829 cents a sheet.  On the other hand, when you purchase a Patterns DSP Stack (40 sheets for $19.95), you are paying $0.498 cents a sheet.  BELIEVE IT OR DON'T.

Yesterday's little black dress was dynamo, but it sure is nice to slip into something comfy... And JEANS are almost as good as jammies!

Jeans1

I'm sure a teen girl would never part with THIS card.  It would be a keeper and end up on her bulletin board!

Jeans2

You can tell by looking closely how to CASE this card (copy and share everything).  Don't forget to use your Stamping Sponge to antique the edges.  It's a natural touch for a jean motif.
