A WEEKEND TO RELAX...

My TO DO LIST always has items that need to be checked off... But the entire list is on hold this weekend... because we're going to the Pendleton Roundup with our friends, Rod and Rhonda.  My hubby and I have never been to a Roundup (or is it a Rodeo), or do you roundup cattle at the rodeo??  And if you round them up, where do you round them up to?  These are questions that will all be answered within the next 3 days!  Or so we think...

Roundup

To get to Pendleton, we'll be driving through the beautiful Columbia River Gorge.  Along the way we are going to stop in Hood River to buy fresh fruit!  Then, on our way home Sunday evening, we'll stop in Hood River and buy MORE fresh fruit...

Much to the chagrin of my husband, I will be taking my laptop to stay in touch with the outside world - and to keep my eye on my TO DO LISTBecause, Monday is coming!

With thoughts of you...  Linda

Enjoy the weekend. Don't get behind those cows! I'll be spending it wondering what you've got in store for us on Monday!

Hi Linda - it's a rodeo, and the name of the rodeo is the Pendleton Roundup. Pendleton is a neat town, ate lunch there at an old-west restaurant last summer. Can't remember the name - sorry! Enjoy Hood River - we'll be flying up in Oct. to see our new grandson. It's a beautiful area and they have the best blueberries. Enjoy!

Have a wonderful time...I know that there are times we just have to pull back and relax and do something different...sounds like fun. Be safe and look forward to hearing from you again soon...love your site...appreciate your sharing with all of us.

You guys are so awesome. I love it that you are trying new things. I hope you have a safe, wonderful trip. I expect to see a photo of both of you in cowboy hats. Ken

Linda sounds like a wonderful trip! Have fun and be safe... see you back in blogland soon.
