MINI NOTE CARD KIT...
ROYAL BLOG TOUR PROJECT 2 OF 6 (Recap)
Mini Note Card Kit
HERE'S HOW
AND
1) The blocks are punched with two sizes of Square Punches, pictured below. I removed the "legs" on the back of the Corduroy Buttons so the buttons would lie flat, then attached them to the cards with Mini Glue Dots.
2) All the critters were stamped using a Jet Black StazOn Pad and colored with a So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker.
3) The envelope flap was covered with the Tall Tales Designer Series Paper and embellished by using the Tag Corner Punch.
4-5-6-7) The small Note Cards (on page 168 in the IBC) were used for this little set. I chose four layout options - vertical, curved, diagonal and horizontal - for intentional design variety. I also put two squares on two cards and one square on two cards, on purpose. And notice the cards with two squares are positioned in opposite directions (vertical and horizontal) and the cards with one square are positioned (top left and bottom right). It all makes a difference and is more pleasing to the eye than repeats. I hope you are thinking, "Aahhh yes!"

If you've never tried making a card kit, try this one. And if you don't have the Bugs & Kisses Stamp Set, substitute another, but keep the basic layout design. It is fast and fun. There's just something about a set. I love sets of anything... Like dishes and linens, and a good book series. My husband James, and his identical twin brother John, are a set, at least in my opinion. I also have a set of identical twin grandsons named Matthew James and Michael John. Sets (and kits) are good. Very good.
I like the variations in the cards. It definitely made a difference.
