BOY BUG BOX & GIRL PURSE...

ROYAL BLOG TOUR PROJECT 3 of 6 (Recap)

Boy Bug Box & Girl Purse

Box & Purse1

HERE'S HOW

Purse-Worms

1) The Boy Bug Box is just a simple rectangle box with a lid that opens for easy access to the bugs.  The "drawers" attached to the front with Stampin' Dimensionals add pizazz to the design, but do not open.

2)  The Purse and the Box are both made with Designer Series Paper cut to 8.5" x 11" and are very close to the same size.  In this view, you can see how the side-panels wrap around and under the bottom to give more support.

3 & 4)  The width on each project is 2" and allows plenty of room for bugs or makeup!

5)  Worms and snakes freak me out!

6)  After being stamped with Close to Cocoa, the critters received a good (slimy) coat of Crystal Effects.

NOTE:  Please check back for the availability of a pattern for both projects.

Oh goodness!  I still haven't made a pattern for the Purse and Bug Box.  But don't give up on me!  Rhonda Soft hasn't.  She's my friend who gave me the original purse idea and is still waiting for hers to be made with pretty papers in her favorite colors of blue and green.  One of these days, she'll not only be surprised with a purse of her own, it will be filled with..... something special!

You watch. You wait. You'll see!
