QUICK! Grab your purse and let's get going... We don't want to be late for the Royal Blog Tour...
Purse #1 is a made from a standard card size of 5-1/2" x 4-1/4". If you leave a comment, I'll email you the pattern. Purse #2 is also a standard card size, but the flap is made from fabric. Information about Purse #2 may be obtained by clicking on the Textiles button, right sidebar. Purse #3 (in a different color) will be one of my projects featured on the Royal Blog Tour, so more on that later.....

I was thinking today about all the people doing last minute things to get ready for the Royal Blog Tour... In addition to over 80 people preparing their blogs for the annual gala affair, there are scores of staff individuals, like marketing advisors, editorial writers, graphic designers, computer techs, and so many others, working to make the event very unique and special. It reminded me of a card I made a few months ago, (you're invited), and how nice it is to have company. We are so excited for Friday to come so we can welcome our guests!
Along with all the last minute preparations for the Royal Blog Tour that begins this coming Friday, I still had time to make this die-cut-and-punches-easy-peasy-card for today's post...
One die-cut and three punches later, it was under the camera lens...
There are soooooo many creative possibilities when using the Awash with Flowers Two-Step Stampin' Set... And here's one...
Use a Blender Pen with just a touch of ink from your Really Rust Stamp Pad, and very lightly watercolor the flower petals, base of the flower and two little leaves...
Apricot Appeal, the color of paper used for this card, will retire at the end of June. If this is a favorite color of yours, order sooner rather than later.
The Awash with Flowers Two-Step Stampin' Set pictured above, may only be purchased for 8 more days through April 30th. If ordered by that date, you may also receive 20% off a selection of other springy Two-Step Stampin' sets from our current catalog. Those sets are as follows:
#113824 Greenhouse Garden ($25.95 for only $20.76)
#113734 Fifth Avenue Floral ($24.95 for only $19.96)
#111578 Flower Fancy (36.95 for only $29.56)
#113258 Trendy Trees ($17.95 for only $14.36)
My front porch is always filled with pots of flowers and baskets of blooms to match the season - and to welcome happy stampers. Colors of spring and summer are abundant now. Most of them are live, but a few are artificial like this wreath...
I experimented and stamped two lavender wreaths.
Which one do YOU like?
I prefer this one...
These close-ups reveal the layers...
And the pierced holes add a little whimsey...

I was sitting at the beauty salon on Saturday, looked up and saw a picture of a purse with a big buckle on the front, and instantaneously thought of how to use the Top Note Die and Hodgepodge Hardware together...
The purse does not open at the buckle, but rather like a standard card as shown in the picture above.
I always look here and there for realistic things that give me ideas for card making. Tomorrow I'll show you the spring wreath on my front porch - and a card that sort of matches it.

The brand new Square Lattice Impressions Embossing Folder reminded me of an ice cream cone, which reminded me of the Sweet Scoops Stamp Set - and they all reminded me of each other, so I made this card...
Pop a rhinestone out of a brad and set in place with a Mini Glue Dot...
Summer and the new Summer Mini is almost here! It's all so yummy!

The much anticipated 2010 Royal Blog Tour begins just two weeks from today! Even though I'm one of the presenters, I have not seen any projects, other than my own. So, like you, I'm very excited to climb on a carriage and travel from one site to another to view what each princess has created with her designated stamp set of choice.
But while we're waiting for the tour to begin, I'll be sharing cards (and ???) with brand new products out of the Summer Mini Catalog. I'd love to have you drop in next week to take a look.
