I've been in Phoenix since Tuesday (at Leadership Conference), receiving information and inspiration to become a better Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  Hence, my blogging to you this week is all via the magic of my on-the-go-laptop and the World Wide Web.  It's all magic to me!

TIC-TAC-TOE... THE HEARTS WIN!

Sometimes the most simple card captures your imagination and your heart!  This is a definite contender! 

HERE'S HOW:  1) Run a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of Whisper White Card Stock through the Big Shot with the Polka Dots Impression Folder.  2) Cut into chunks of 1-5/8" x 1-1/4".  3) Adhere all four corners first, then fill in with other pieces. 

Note: When I made this card for my stampers, I prepared the little pieces in advance.  It was quick and easy for me to mass produce and made it very simple for stampers to assemble the card.  I spoil them and they love it.

A NEW YEAR AND NEW BABIES...

Several stampers recently asked me to make some BABY CARDS with a SIMPLE DESIGN so they could easily be mass produced for all the babies being born within their families and to their friends.  (It's baby season around here.)  I have new babies too... A new grandbaby, a new great grandbaby, and two new nephews!

Our new Border Punches were just right for this task. One looks like a boy and one looks like a girl - don't you think!  Even the paper worked well... Plaid for a little boy and polka dots for a little girl.  These cards were so easy to make - and a fun way to start the brand new year!

The holidays have been great... But now it's time to get back to a normal routine and I can hardly wait. Tomorrow is the day!  There will be many new creative and inspirational surprises here on Polka Dots and Paper in 2010!  I'm all ready!
